House Rules & Policies

By the C is a real home with real history. We ask all guests to treat it with care and respect.

• Check-in / Check-out: Check-in at 3:00 PM, check-out at 11:00 AM. Self check-in via lockbox.
• Maximum occupancy: 4 guests. No parties or events.
• Smoking: No smoking inside the cottage. Smoking is permitted outside in designated areas only.
• Quiet hours: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be respectful of neighbours.
• Shoes: Please remove shoes indoors to protect the floors.

Pets are welcome at By the C. We love animals and want them to enjoy the stay too.

• Please clean up after your pet, both indoors and outdoors
• Keep pets off the furniture and out of the bedding
• Do not leave pets unattended in the cottage for extended periods
• Pet fees, if applicable, are handled through the Airbnb listing
• The private backyard is a great space for pets, but please supervise near the bluff

The hot tub and infrared sauna are maintained between each guest stay for your comfort and safety.

• Shower before entering the hot tub
• No glass containers near the hot tub or sauna
• The hot tub is for registered guests only
• Children must be supervised at all times
• Follow the posted operating instructions for the sauna
• Stay hydrated when using the sauna, especially for extended sessions
• Replace the hot tub cover after each use

All bookings are made through our Airbnb listing. Cancellation policies are set by Airbnb and displayed at the time of booking. Please review the cancellation terms on the listing before confirming your reservation.
